In 1980 my friends and I were in our final year studying for our Degrees in Architecture and we occupied a squat at the junction of King Henry's Road and Regent's Park Road.
For my 25th birthday, my father sent me my first proper camera, a Nikon, and the very same day I loaded up a roll of black and white film and headed up to the top of Primrose Hill which was a popular local destination for people looking for a panoramic view of London.
The images I captured up there that day formed the basis for this collection of simple pen and ink drawings completed in 2014 with colour added in 2024" I still have the photographs and my son Robbie inherited the camera to add to his collection of old SLR cameras.
