FACES
These portraits belong to a short series of interesting images created from B+W photographs of FACES. Using a thick felt tipped pen, I created short, broad strokes of black ink to pick out the main facial features, hopefully similar to brushstrokes. The image was reversed again to white on black in the printing process and then colour added without discrimination or hesitation. For me, it is psychedelic surgery.
