Humandala

As the embers of 9/11 cooled, I was driven to release some of my feelings around this event and in the process created an image projecting the qualities of Unity and Strength. The Humandala. On January 21st , 2021, “Australia Day” or as our Indigenous People call it, “Sorry Day”, a Humandala was created in 3-Dimensions at The South Bank Corporation on Brisbane’s Southside.

This was a one off performance piece presenting the talents of Indigenous musicians, actors and dancers as well as 96 trusting members of the public who created a beautiful, spiritual image on the floor of the amphitheatre that was then hand coloured in chalk over a period of 4 hours. The whole process was captured on a short documentary that provides the true essence of what The Humandala is all about, and that is Humanity and our infinite connections. I continue this work today and the image has evolved as my own spiritual journey evolves.
